Dry Cleaning is a process that we take very seriously. We know how important it is to take the very best care of your clothing, but we also know how important it is to take care of our planet.
We use the best solvents and make sure that we follow EPA guidelines. We adhere to the strictest regulations when it comes to proper filtration and distilling of our dry cleaning solvent and we will always use clean solvent. This is an important part of the process in making sure your garments are given the best possible clean.
What Fabrics to Dry Clean
Fabrics such as silk and linen should only be dry cleaned. This ensures that the garments retain their look and feel and will also extends their life. Even more basic fabrics such as cotton will retain color better and enjoy a longer life if dry-cleaned rather than being washed.
When you bring in your garments to us, we follow the same process each time:
- We inspect each garment individually before cleaning to make sure the garment goes through a tailored cleaning process that will result in the best cleaning results.
- We examine and pre-spot when necessary for every item that we receive. We will do this over and over until the stain is removed.
- Once your items have been cleaned and dry cleaned, they are handed to our pressing staff who are trained to be precise and patient so that they will perfectly press the garment.
- All of this work then goes through an inspection processs. If our expert staff are not completely satisfied with the quality of cleaning/pressing, it is then handed back to our cleaning/pressing staff to start again.
